Important Update: New Recreation Management System

Beginning February 9th, Winterville Parks & Recreation will be utilizing a new recreation management software, RecDesk, to replace ActiveNet. This new platform will be used for all program registrations.

What does this mean for you?

  • No new reservations on ActiveNet: Please avoid using ActiveNet for any future reservations or registrations.
  • New System - RecDesk: To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend creating your RecDesk account today by clicking the link below. RecDesk will be used for all program registrations moving forward.

We appreciate your cooperation as we make this switch, and we look forward to providing you with an even better experience through RecDesk.

Zumba

Perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out.

How it works: We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Benefits: A total workout, combining all elements of fitness - cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

Instructor: Wendy Peterson

Location: Winterville Operations Center Training Room: 2936 Church Street

Session Information:  Classes every Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Cost: $40.00 per participant. Must register for entire session, no drop-in.

Registration: Ongoing.
